Coming to a Workshop

Parking : There is usually free on-road parking space available directly outside the studio. Alternatively you can park at Carew Castle carpark and we are a five minute walk away.

Stairs : We are on the ground floor of the building with access for a wheelchair.

Toilet Facilities : There is a domestic toilet available at the studio.

Dietary Requirements: If you have any dietary needs or allergies please specify when booking.

Visual impairment : Workshop hand outs are available in Large print format. Please let me know if this would benefit you when booking. Our sewing machines are all equipped with needle threading aid to help those with impaired sight. I am also more than happy to assist with needle threading.

Physical Disabilities : The studio has 6 Bernette b37 sewing machines that have an automatic function that can be used without a foot pedal. We also have a number of sewing machine presser feet that can make sewing more accessible for people with limited mobility in their hands. Please do get in contact if you have a disability that you feel creates a barrier to sewing and I can discuss options with you.
