Teens Summer Holiday Club

These classes are perfect for aspiring fashionistas aged between 12 and 18.

Over the course of five weekly sessions, participants will be guided through various design processes to create their very own garment from scratch. They will learn a range of skills, from design and pattern construction to choosing appropriate fabrics, sewing techniques, and finishing touches.

All tools and equipment are readily available at the studio, including six user-friendly, high-quality sewing machines and an overlocker. Participants will need to purchase fabric and notions for their projects, and Abi can provide advice on these.

These sessions offer an ideal introduction to sewing, fashion, and design, providing a great opportunity to develop new skills and have fun. As a Royal College of Art graduate with years of experience in the creative industries, I am passionate about offering training opportunities to young people and supporting them in excelling in their chosen careers.

Upon receipt of booking, I will contact each participant to discuss their project idea and help them get started, ensuring they are prepared and able to make the most of the five-week course

FAQ’s : What if I / my teen is unable to make one of the sessions?

This is naturally something that happens and I will do my utmost to ensure that everyone is kept on track, either by setting additional homework or by providing time and space for them to drop into the studio if required.
