What the Workshop includes
These classes are perfect for young fashion enthusiasts aged 12-18 who want to explore sustainable fashion, upcycling, and circular design while getting hands-on with garment creation.
Over five weekly sessions, you'll work through the full creative process, transforming pre-loved textiles into a unique, wearable piece. You'll learn essential skills like sketching, pattern-making, deconstructing and repurposing fabrics, sewing techniques, and finishing details—all with sustainability in mind.
The studio is fully equipped with six high-quality, easy-to-use sewing machines and an overlocker. While all tools are provided, you'll source your own fabric and notions—encouraging thoughtful material choices and creative reuse. I’ll be available to guide you in selecting the best options for your project.
This course is a fantastic introduction to fashion with a purpose, offering the chance to build sewing and design skills in a relaxed, supportive environment. With a Masters from the Royal College of Art and industry experience, I’m passionate about helping young people grow their confidence and develop their creative talents while making more sustainable choices.
Once you've booked, I'll be in touch to discuss your project ideas and help you prepare for an inspiring, eco-conscious fashion journey!
FAQ’s : What if I / my teen is unable to make one of the sessions?
This is naturally something that happens and I will do my utmost to ensure that everyone is kept on track, either by setting additional homework or by providing time and space for them to drop into the studio if required.
